 The Carey Latimore IV Foundation is rooted in a story of love, unexpected turns, and a deep commitment to service.

After Carey and Almie Latimore were united in marriage in 2011, they hoped to start a family. While God had a different plan for them personally, their hearts soon turned toward helping others. They chose to use their resources to financially support students in their quest of pursuing their education.

This new mission received its first, powerful affirmation when a student they supported successfully graduated with a business degree. That moment brought them immense joy and solidified their belief that this was the meaningful work they were meant to pursue.

 In 2022, the Latimore family faced profound sadness when Dr. Carey Latimore IV, after battling cancer with courage, passed on to be with the Lord.

In the midst of her sorrow, Almie Latimore channeled her grief into action, determined to continue the mission she and Carey had started together. Inspired by the unwavering support of family and friends, she established The Carey Latimore IV Foundation.

The Foundation stands as a living legacy to Carey's compassionate spirit and the couple's shared vision.
